OFF THE WALL - Q&A'S
| Why a year and a day?
The addition of leap day or adding an extra
calendar day every four years in February probably gave rise to the phrase
"A year and a day". A year and a day has always been considered a magical
span of time, used in all sorts of pagan customs.
Calendar Differences The Gregorian calendar resulted from a
perceived need to reform the method of calculating dates of Easter. Under
the Julian calendar the dating of Easter had become standardized, using
March 21 as the date of the equinox and the Metonic cycle as the basis for
calculating lunar phases. By the thirteenth century it was realized that
the true equinox had regressed from March 21 (its supposed date at the
time of the Council of Nicea, +325) to a date earlier in the month. As a
result, Easter was drifting away from its springtime position and was
losing its relation with the Jewish Passover. Over the next four
centuries, scholars debated the "correct" time for celebrating Easter and
the means of regulating this time calendrically. The Church made
intermittent attempts to solve the Easter question, without reaching a
consensus. What is energy looping? When you energetically loop with others and your fields are also out - the loop will continue past the time you are with that person physically. When you see them again, the energetic pattern will still be there. That person will continue to project their issues onto you whether it's quilt, anger, or pain. We all need to move out of this way of "looping" How? By working with the techniques of Being In The Moment. When you have all of your "bodies" pulled into self, your radar is no longer out there, and the energies can not project onto you. Believe me, this does work!
